Signing With Compassion, Connecting With Love

Fingers of Mercy is a sign langauge tutoring initiative in Uganda, started in 2024 by Fr. Martin Mary Oyo with the support of the Uganda Catholic Deaf Community and the Catholic Church. It started at Holy Trinity Kamwokya Catholic Parish, and hopes to continue with its programs consistently. The initiatives primary aim is to cater for the education, interests and needs of the Deaf in Uganda and beyond. Currently with an enrolment of over 40 individuals, the initiative hopes to reach out to many more others. We teach all deaf and hearing persons regardless of religious affiliation.
